Our hospital offers breast cancer screening for Sumida Ward , as well as self-paid breast cancer screening .

During a breast cancer screening, I was told that I needed further examination.

If you are advised to undergo a more detailed examination during a breast cancer screening or health check conducted by your local government, you should undergo the examination as soon as possible.

I want to receive hormone therapy after breast cancer surgery.

●I would like to undergo regular checkups for benign diseases or after breast cancer surgery .

I would like to consult about preventing recurrence and metastasis .

I want to get a second opinion

Breast cancer treatment process

Our hospital is open to both those with breast symptoms and those without symptoms who are looking for breast cancer screening.

1. Tests leading up to breast cancer diagnosis (at our hospital)

In addition to general breast cancer screening (mammography, ultrasound), our hospital also provides detailed examinations after breast cancer screening. Since screening alone cannot determine whether you have breast cancer, more detailed examinations are necessary. Please undergo detailed examinations as soon as possible. We also perform cytological and histological examinations as necessary.

(9:30am - 12:00pm / 3:00pm - 6:00pm)

2. Tests to be taken as necessary (affiliated medical institutions)

When breast cancer is suspected or diagnosed, we investigate the extent to which the cancer cells have spread using mammotome biopsy, MRI, PET scan, etc. In addition, we evaluate the properties (subtype) of the cancer cells, and based on this information, we decide on a treatment plan that is appropriate for each patient.

3. Initial treatment for breast cancer (our hospital/affiliated medical institutions)

After determining the stage (degree of progression) and nature (subtype) of the cancer, a treatment plan tailored to each individual will be created. If you have concerns or questions about the condition of your breast cancer or the treatment plan, or if you want to check whether there are any other options, you can also get a second opinion.

4. Regular checkups after breast cancer treatment, and prevention of recurrence and metastasis (at our hospital)

After breast cancer surgery, patients need to be monitored for a long period of time. The duration, intervals, and methods of monitoring vary depending on the patient's situation, but generally, patients are monitored for about 10 years after surgery.

Please also consult us about preventing recurrence and metastasis after breast cancer surgery.

Detailed examination after breast cancer screening (secondary examination)

Our hospital offers detailed examinations after breast cancer screening.

"Requires more detailed examination" does not equal "breast cancer." Since a medical examination alone cannot determine whether you have breast cancer, more detailed examination is necessary. It can be very worrying to be told that you "require more detailed examination" during a breast cancer screening test, but you should undergo a more detailed examination as soon as possible.

Detailed examinations after breast cancer screening are covered by insurance.
